Health and Fitness class was a lot of fun today. It is always good to be a kid again. And a hula hoop can certainly do that. There was a picture that hung on the wall at my house while growing up. It said, "a great man is one who has not lost his child's heart." This is so true and so important to remember.
How much fun was it to turn writing and science into physical education? For the record, photosynthesis is a long word to spell while jumping rope. I am enjoying finding small creative ways to tie subjects together while incorporating movement and activity.
Nice job to all who did micro-teaching today. Enjoyed your lessons. I know we pushed your thinking a little with some of our questions. But that is all we wanted to do. You all did a good job and we learned things from both lessons.
Thank you too to our young student teachers. It was a pleasure to meet you, to enjoy your smiles, and to have fun with you. Thanks for spending your morning with us.
